We're so happy to announce – we’re getting married! David and I met on Lavalife in the spring of 2004. We met in person shortly after we started chatting - and from the first date forward, we knew we were a match! We moved in together after only a few months – got a puppy, and the rest is history! We've had our share of troubled times dealing with terminally ill parents and eventually losing them, but we've also shared some amazing times together. After several coffee dates and looking at profiles so much that they all started to sound the same, I still hadn't found someone special. I decided I was going to pull my profile and call it a day... until I saw a pic of a gentleman with the most beautiful blue eyes, and figured I would at least send him a smile. He responded - he was on the other side of the country but we talked every night and it was really nice to get to know someone without any of the usual distractions. He finally made the trip to meet me and it was true love at first sight! It has been almost 2 years and I give thanks every day for having the most wonderful man ever in my life. I haven't had a lot of luck when it comes to love but this time it is for real.
